Position Title:                                        Principal Statistical Programmer

Hours:                                                    Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Location:                                               4130 ParkLake Avenue, Suite 400, Raleigh, NC 27612

Responsibilities

Summary of Duties:                             Provide major support in implementing Global Statistical Programming strategies and drive efficient execution of statistical analyses for global regulatory submissions, clinical compounds, and studies, in particularly large important therapeutic  areas encompassing multiple compounds and various types of analysis and reporting deliverables while meeting global analysis requirements, regulatory standards, and data transparency regulations.  Provide statistical programming support for the implementation of data models and the reporting of clinical trial data.  Demonstrate expertise in computer programming, statistical analysis systems (SAS), and other procedural languages.  Understand biometrics procedures, workflows, and software systems.  Display ability to manage extremely large datasets for statistical analysis and mathematical model creation.  Demonstrate expert knowledge and understanding of Analysis Data Structure Standards (ADaM) and Conversion Data Structure Standards (SDTM).  Apply advanced leadership skills in the coordination of analysis and reporting activities for multiple statistical programming projects. Can work remotely.

Qualifications

 

 

Qualifications:                                      Master’s degree in Chemistry, Epidemiology, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience as a Statistical Programmer, SAS Programmer, or related role.  Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Epidemiology, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Statistical Programmer, SAS Programmer, or related role will be accepted in lieu of a Master’s degree and three (3) years of experience.  Experience must include: 3 years of experience with SAS Programming.  3 years of experience with UNIX.  3 years of experience with Analysis Data Structure Standards (ADaM) and Conversion Data Structure Standards (SDTM).  3 years of experience creating Tables, Listings, and Graphs using SAS Software.
