Our Human Resources team plays an integral role in PRA’s success by driving talent management strategies in support of our most valuable asset – our people.  As an HR Coordinator in our Lenexa, KS office, you will have the opportunity to support and partner with all levels of employees and leaders in your day-to-day interactions.    Reporting to the Associate Director of Human Resources, you will utilize your strong organizational and administrative skills as well as your human resources knowledge to support day-to-day operations, and will have a proven track record of working independently and communicating clearly, both verbally and in writing. A critical function of this role is to partner with the broader human resources team at both the local and corporate level to ensure the highest level of service is being provided to our internal customers. You will use your critical thinking skills to understand, anticipate and resolve issues of varying complexity.  We are seeking a self-starter who has the ability to continuously and proactively prioritize in the midst of competing responsibilities. Confidentiality, professionalism and effective interpersonal communication skills are key to your success in this role.                                               

Responsibilities

  • Lead local onboarding activities including New Employee Orientation and verify work authorization for new hires
  • Schedule and conduct exit interviews
  • Participate in the Lenexa Employee Activities Committee to help plan and coordinate employee events and serve as the main point of contact for the annual employee health fair and flu shot clinic
  • Serve as a point of contact to triage general employee inquiries and direct employees to the proper resources for assistance as needed
  • Support the delivery of key HR projects and initiatives which may include creating presentations, generating reports, reviewing and analyzing data, conducting audits, creating and launching surveys, supporting performance management initiatives and other projects as assigned      

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or equivalent
  • 1 – 2 years of prior human resources experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
