The Systems Administrator will be responsible for administration, installation, maintenance, and support of enterprise applications while ensuring a high level of application availability with a focus on SharePoint Online and other Document Management/Collaboration applications. The role will also provide technical support to developers and implement additional functionality to supplement vendor supplied programs.


  • Responsible for support, maintenance, configuration and management of SharePoint online and other document sharing platforms. 
  • Support other applications as needed.
  • Resolve helpdesk tickets for SharePoint and or other applications as assigned.   
  • Set up and configure solutions for new SharePoint enhancements and or project requests, considering, data security, confidentiality, Personally Identifiable Information etc.   
  • Engage directly with end users to clarify requirements, issues and propose solutions and alternatives. 
  • Develop monitoring or other scripts to maintain the environment to requirements and security standards
  • Test solutions prior to deployment
  • Develop and maintain system development lifecycle documents as required




  • Good communication skills both verbal and written including the ability to communicate technical information to business users in non-technical terms. 
  • Good problem solving skills and analytical ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems/issues
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience supporting end users, supporting and or creating SharePoint online sites/sub-site and other or other collaborative or document sharing platforms
  • Requires a high school degree and some post high school technical training. 
  • Good working knowledge of relational databases

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent in technical area preferred
  • Understanding of Personally Identifiable Information and other industry security requirements practices preferred
  • Exposure to GxP systems preferred.
