    Responsibilities

    What will you be doing?

    As a Sr Compensation Analyst, you will provide analytical support to the development and administration of compensation programs that meet PRA's talent management strategy and comply with local regulations. You will provide support to HR Business Partners to assist with compensation decisions or issues. Support day-to-day compensation activities including the production of compensation communications and approvals. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Analyze and evaluate jobs to determine job grade utilizing established methodology. Write clear and concise job descriptions; maintain descriptions according to departmental procedures. For U.S. jobs, determine overtime requirements according to Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA) regulations.
    • Conduct market analyses to review competitiveness of base pay programs. Formulate recommendations for salary structure adjustments and salary increase budgets.
    • Establish procedures and guidelines for salary and bonus review processes. Prepare communications materials for HR Business partners and managers and provide assistance in determining appropriate actions. Administer company bonus programs and facilitate payouts.
    • Evaluate effectiveness of corporate compensation programs and provide recommendations for improvement.

    Qualifications

    What do you need to have?

     

    Must have: 

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience administering corporate compensation programs including market pricing, writing job descriptions and assisting HR Business Partners with compensation-related issues
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Relations or related field (required)
    • Master's degree (preferred)
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent project management and relationship-building skills
    • Expert Excel skills. Intermediate to advanced skill in other Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication.
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Knowledge of US wage and hour regulations such as FLSA
    • Ability to effectively compose business communications such as policies and procedures, detailed reports, presentations, and analyses
    • Ability to define problems, research and collect data, establish and evaluate facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to effective summarize and present complex data to a variety of audiences.
    • Ability to make sound judgments on sensitive, confidential issues
    • To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.

     

    This position is office based and located in Raleigh, NC.  This is not a home-based or remote position.
