    Who You Are:

    You are committed to – and passionate about – helping accelerate the development of new treatments for those suffering from a rare disease.  You bring a scientific orientation combined with the ability to see the big picture and be proactive problem-solver.  You have clinical research experience in, and an interest to further special in rare neurological, neuromuscular or neurodegenerative diseases. You understand clinical trials and might be a nurse or study coordinator or clinical trial manager who works at a clinical site or you may be a CRA with a mix of practical and operational knowledge.   Never losing site of the rare disease patient’s needs, you are savvy at marrying both the site and sponsor needs to skillfully advise on protocol development, site selection, and how we can reduce the burden of clinical trial participation.  You are confident in your therapeutic knowledge but open to expanding and committed to continuous learning.  But above all else, you are empathetic. 


    What You Will Be Doing:

    You will be applying your therapeutic expertise to work on request for proposals (RFPs), protocol development. And strategic consulting engagements with clients  You will help develop successful strategies for clinical projects within he rare disease space, always mindful of the patient perspective. You are communicative and curious and will be looking for additional ways to engage our clients in new business opportunities.  Taking the initiative, you will help to perform outreach to clients and present our insights within the field of rare neurologic and related conditions.

    • Develop and maintain long-term professional relationships with relevant personnel in targeted client accounts and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) through effective networking.
    • Assists business development team members in closing prospective opportunities by participating in bid defenses and other client meetings.



    What You Need to Have

    You will need to have experience working with rare neurologic diseases and familiarity with neurological assessment tools, especially those used as clinical endpoints.

    • Undergraduate degree or its international equivalent is required
    • MS, PhD, MD or Pharm D, preferred
    • 5+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical development/scientific research including experience with study design
    • Ability to travel (position is approximately 30% travel)
    • To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.
