    **This role will be office based in our Raleigh, NC office**


    PRA is recruiting for a Government Contract Specialist to manage and overseeing the contracting process for PRA’s U.S. government funded contract portfolio.  You will work closely with Legal Counsel, Operations, Accounting, Human Resources, and other PRA functions to manage day-to-day contracting activities and to ensure compliance with U.S. government requirements.  


    • Track all U.S. government funded contracts
    • Coordinate communication with the Government Core Team (GCT)
    • Reviews Request for Proposal (RFP) and create tracker for each government funded RFP
    • Communicates PRA’s compliance positions and supports other departments through government RFP process
    • Communicates compliance requirements with various departments upon award
    • Conducts initial review of confidentiality agreements, teaming agreements, master service agreements and other contracts related to U.S. government funded opportunities
    • Create flowdown templates from higher tier contracts for inclusion to lower tier contracts and investigator grants
    • Manages PRA contracting and approval process for U.S. government funded client contracts and vendor contracts
    • Stays informed of U.S. government contracting industry updates, changes, and emerging issues
    • Additional duties as assigned

    • With the assistance of others, contribute to the assessment of PRA’s compliance with procurement rules
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Communicate in a professional manner with departments across PRA, with prime contractors, subcontractors, and the government



    Minimum Qualifications:

    • BA/BS from accredited school
    • 3 years’ professional work experience working in corporate environment, consulting firm, law firm, or government agency supporting contracting activities (or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key responsibilities of the job)
    • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Read, write, speak fluent English


    Strongly preferred qualifications:

    • Familiarity with U.S. government procurement rules, processes, and contracting and rules demonstrated by 2+ years’ experience applying U.S. government contracting rules and regulations in a practical setting
    • Understanding of and ability to apply FAR and agency supplements to business practices
    • Familiarity with CRO industry contractual and compliance matters
