    Who You Are:

    You are committed to protecting PRA Health Sciences from hackers and other criminals targeting businesses to steal valuable information or bring our computer networks to a halt.  You are passionate about staying up-to-date on the latest intelligence, including hacker’s methodologies, in order to anticipate security breaches.  You respect that you are entrusted and empowered to escalate issues of threat protection and data loss.  Problem solving and troubleshooting are key components to your success as well as the ability to work independently.

    Responsibilities

    What You Will Be Doing:

    You will be part of a round the clock team that is responsible for monitoring the internal external threat environment for emerging threats and vulnerabilities.  This will include PRA security appliances and tools, including IDS, IPS, Firewalls, Anti-Virus malware.  You will work closely with the other security team to assess risk and provide recommendations for improving our security posture.  You will consistently create, test and implement network disaster recovery plans, crisis management plans and cyberattack remediation plans.

     

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Respond to cybersecurity event and incidents caused by internal and external threats to our clients, coordinate response activities with various stakeholders for confirmed incidents and recommend mitigation strategies.
    • Participate in cybersecurity tabletop exercises to improve response capabilities.
    • Work cross functionally with PRA business units to facilitate security risk assessment & risk management processes and ensure that residual risk is in line with company’s risk tolerance.

    Qualifications

    What Do You Need to Have:

    • High School Diploma required
    • Bachelor of Science, preferred
    • 5+ years of relevant experience in Information Security/Cyber Security field.
    • Security + and one or more of the following: SSCP, GSEC or industry equivalent required
    • Cybersecurity certifications: CISSP, CASP, GCED, GCIH, CEH, CCNA-S OR CySA+, preferred
    • Data Privacy certification: EU GDPR preferred
    • Security Operations Center (SOC) operations required
    • To Qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status
