    The Trial Manager is responsible for supporting the operational management  and oversight of clinical trials within their assigned areas. The level of independence and scope of responsibilities assigned may vary depending on the level of experience. The Trial Manager works closely with the Global Trial Leader, Global Trial Manager, other Clinical Development Operations Roles such as Documentation, Trial Administration, Clinical Monitoring, CRAs, other Clinical Trial Team Members to ensure the completion of all clinical activities / project deliverables within the required time frame and budget. The Trial Manager may also provide oversight of External Service Providers, Contract Research Organizations, on assigned clinical trials.
    In addition to the tasks outlined above, an experienced Trial Manager may also be assigned additional tasks to support the project management team with the management and handling of Clinical Development Operations deliverables




    • Minimum 3 years experience in clinical research, including a management role as a team lead or project manager experience.
    • Reads, writes and speaks fluent English; fluent in language of host country.
    • An undergraduate degree.
    • An undergraduate degree with 5 years of experience in clinical research and at least 2 years as a functional team lead role or single service project management. 
    • Graduate degree with 3 years of experience in clinical research and at least 1 year as a functional team lead role or single service project management.
    • Experience in managing External Service Providers including performance assessments and finance management (invoice review, change order management, budget reforecasting, etc.)
    • Available to travel domestically and internationally



    • 3 years of demonstrated experience performing clinical trial management activities with at least 1 year of Phase 2 and 3 experience
    • Previous experience working with electronic data capture systems, electronic Trial Master Files, and Clinical Trial Management Systems
