Who You Are:
You are committed to – and passionate about – helping accelerate the development of new treatments for ophthalmic indications. You bring a scientific orientation combined with the ability to see the big picture and be a proactive problem-solver. You have clinical research experience in, and an interest to further specialize in ophthalmic diseases, eye diseases, and related conditions. You understand clinical trials and might be a nurse or study coordinator or clinical trial manager who works at a clinical site or you may be a Project Manager with a mix of practical and operational knowledge. Never losing site of a focus on ophthalmic patient needs, you are savvy at marrying both the site and sponsor needs to skillfully advise on protocol development, site selection, and how we can reduce the burden of clinical trial participation. You are confident in your therapeutic knowledge but open to expanding and committed to continuous learning in other therapeutic areas. But above all else, you are empathetic.
What You Will Be Doing:
You will be applying your therapeutic expertise to work on requests for proposals (RFPs), strategic consulting engagements with clients, support new protocol development, and helping to grow our focus and presence n the ophthalmology space. You will help develop successful strategies for clinical projects within the ophthalmology and eye diseases space, always mindful of the patient perspective. You are communicative and curious and will be looking for additional ways to engage our clients in new business opportunities. Taking the initiative, you will help to perform outreach to clients and present our insights within the field of ophthalmology and related disorders.
What You Need to Have
You will need to have experience working within ophthalmology and familiarity with ophthalmic and optometric assessment tools, especially those used as clinical endpoints.
