  • Overview

    The Sr. Application Administrator will provide daily monitoring and support for the on premises custom systems that support bid management, revenue calculations/forecasting backlog, cost and revenue allocation rates, cloud-based time and expense management solution (Databasics) compensation system. They deliver application enhancements and complete technical tasks on assigned projects as well as provide support of inbound and outbound interfaces for Databasics.


     

    Responsibilities

    • Support access provisioning and creation/maintenance of role-based security. as well as function as key technical contact for Operations Finance on usage and support issues with key Operational Finance systems. 

    • Work closely with Finance and HR on the Databasics and Compensation system for ongoing support, projects and enhancements.

    • Support Business System Owners and or designates in solutioning and resolving business challenges with using the applications and or resolve technical issues.

    • Assist with serving as contact person to report and follow-up with Databasics on problems encountered while using the system, (this includes maintaining the problem/case log and all documentation provided during the installation process).
    • Lead and or participates in software installations and patch upgrades/patch testing
    • Lead technical changes including all documentation, CAB change request and coordination across IT
    • Support SOX compliance requests on a timely basis
    • Respond to help desk incidents and service requests per defined SLA’s, interact with end users to resolve issues and deliver on service requests
    • Author and or review SDLC documents for projects and enhancements
    • Responds to user requests for assistance.
    • Troubleshoots and resolves system issues.
    • Develops, tests, and implements systems changes, upgrades and patches
    • Monitors and maintains application services; installs and configures application software on new services and maintains system configurations.

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in technical area OR equivalent experience in information technology field
    • 5+ Years of Applications support including delivering enhancements and projects
    • Ability to partner with business and internal IT teams across infrastructure, project management and business analysts on application changes
    • 3+ years of Windows based server administration, patching and support 
    • 2+ years of SQL development 
    • 2+ years of hands on experience running PERL scripts and writing PowerShell scripts
    • Good understanding of .NET 4.5 or other framework
    • Exposure to Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server preferred
    • Good troubleshooting expertise
    • Hands on experience in creating technical specifications, installation documents and administration manuals. 
    • Good communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders within the business and within IT
    • Experience of working with diverse, remote teams
    • To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.

     Preferred 

    • Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle APEX experience
    • some knowledge of JavaScript
