  • Overview

    The ETL Developer will design, develop, enhance, performance tune and maintain Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) objects and scripts. They liaise among stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems. 

    Responsibilities

    • Partners with business and technology partners to elicit, analyze, design and document technical requirements to determine improvements
    • Translates business requirements into technical requirements
    • Conduct requirement analysis, design and implementation of business process changes
    • Develop, Extract, Transform and Load Logic that meet technical requirements
    • Conducts performance testing and tuning.  
    • Write queries to correct, reformat, or move data
    • Gathering business and functional requirements for data transfers Tests data extraction/integration
    • Performs performance testing and tuning
    • Extracts, migrates, and integrates data for assigned projects.
    • Entry into governance systems
    • Support data warehouse build and infrastructure
    • Provide status reports to management team
    • Escalates project issues when necessary  

    Qualifications

    • 1+ years of relevant experience
    • Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent
    • Experience working with general ETL architecture
    • Experience with full life cycle of data including data analysis, ETL, dimensional modeling, data transformation and meta-data management
    • Exposure to ETL coding and database design
    • Strong knowledge of SQL and data manipulation and analysis
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
    • Strong ability to extract, manipulate, and integrate enterprise data
    • To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.
