Who You Are:
You are a numbers minded person with strong Excel pivot table and v-lookup skills. You are able to deal with difficult, sensitive and confidential issues. You are highly organized with strong attention to detail and able to work under tight deadlines. You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
What You Will Be Doing:
Responsible for processing all payroll transactions timely and accurately for approximately 6,800 PRA US employees using ADP Pay Force and approximately 450 PRA Canadian employees using ADP Pay At Work. Perform daily payroll department operations including processing of payments, maintenance of deductions, garnishment calculation and compliance, payroll taxation, auditing and reconciliation, year end reporting and generation of management reports.
•Generate and load time file hours and pay data batches in to the payroll system.
•Assist employees with our ADP Employee Self Service system.
•Answer employee and manager questions regarding payroll.
•Manage the ADP Connection file that transfers data from our Lawson HR system to the ADPpayroll system.
•Manage the benefit feeds from our third party benefit provider.
•Fulfill other assignments as are consistent with the scope of responsibilities of an AccountingSpecialist in the payroll department
What You Need To Have:
•At least 5 years of payroll experience, working with large multi-state payrolls.
•CPP Certification a plus.•Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Accounting or related field.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Products: pivot tables, functions, formulas and macros in Excel a plus
•Experience in providing outstanding customer service, and in ensuring compliance with company’ssystem of internal controls is required.
•Must demonstrate excellent analytical and organizational skills.
•Must work effectively in a team environment.
•Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
