    Responsibilities

    • You will have a thorough understanding of the capabilities, systems and related processes for vendors under your remit.
    • Under the direction of the Global Project Director/Manager, you will be responsible for managing selected vendors at the project team level.
    • You will contribute to the vendor management plan for projects to which you are assigned.
    • You will review the vendor specification documents at the project level ensuring that the scope of services and roles/responsibilities adequately address the expectations and risks.
    • You will ensure vendor scope of services and lines of communication are documented and understood by PRA, the client and the vendor.
    • For the vendors under your responsibility, you will develop project level performance measurements and service level agreements.
    • You will understand, manage and satisfy client contractual, organisational and relationship needs and expectations with regards to vendor activities.
    • You will lead the resolution of project level vendor issue escalations; including but not limited to project level CAPAs and audit findings. 
    • You will be responsible for ensuring that all vendor service obligations agreed upon are satisfactorily performed and in the timeline agreed by the parties.
    • It will be your responsibility to provide regular reporting on vendor performance metrics, status of deliverables and risks/issues associated with vendors to the Global Project Manager/Director and the client.
    • You will chair and lead meetings with vendors.
    • In collaboration with the Director/Manager of Clinical Vendor Management, you will establish a suite of standardized tools, templates and training materials to assist other PRA team members when working with vendors.

    Qualifications

     

    • Intimate knowledge/understanding of vendor and project management skills and processes.
    • Experience of management of third party vendors on global clinical trials, specifically in eCOA/ePRO
    • Demonstrated skilled application of risk management techniques.
    • Read, write and speak English.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in clinical research in a CRO or Healthcare related industry.
    • Graduate degree in a relevant discipline.
