    The Network Engineer designs, installs, monitors and troubleshoots PRA’s global network systems. These include WAN/LAN, remote access services, VPNs, Wireless, Unified communications, Network security, and Network monitoring tools.

    Responsibilities

    • Attend Customer and internal meetings to discuss upcoming requirements and assist Stakeholders with network solutions/designs.
    • Create/Design and provide post support of any MACD/OOMEs.
    • Configure Cisco Hardware, Routers/Switches/Wireless/WAAS/Citrix Loadbalancers/Firewalls.
    • Design implement Wireless solutions using Cisco best practices.
    • Isolate, troubleshoot and remediate Wireless Issues, QoS, LAN/WAN, Routing and switching.
    • Communication and comprehensive documentation of each phase for the life cycle of the build this includes network diagrams, migration, test plans and updates as needed.
    • Invoke technical change control where necessary, should the client's requirements change during implementation.
    • Working with clients to validate service has been completed as per design.
    • Contribute to ongoing team and department processes and procedures and implementation of good practices.
    • Adhere to all Installation team and Service Delivery processes and procedures at all times.
    • Be able to fully support and deploy new office setups. Be able to communicate with other teams to nail down the scope of work and requirements and execute against them.
    • Be an effective trouble-shooter to isolate and resolve any network related issues.
    • Be able to support day to day operational activities and get involved in other critical projects as needed.
    • May require project work that occurs outside of normal business hours that may occur over the weekend.

    Qualifications

    • Technical Certification: CCNA & CCNP Routing Switching and CCNA/CCNP Wireless.
    • Solid hands-on experience in the following disciplines: Routing/Switching, Wireless and some Security and Unified Communications knowledge/capabilities.
    • Experience in WAN technologies, SD WAN and WAN optimization.
    • Have deep understanding of routing protocols (Specifically BGP/OSFP).
    • Have solid MPLS and VPN technology understanding.
    • Move, Add, Change, Delete/Decommission/Disconnect (MACD) experience related to office/branch openings, moves, or expansions.
    • Understanding and capable of ordering and turning up WAN circuits as well as telephony circuits.
    • Have some understanding of monitoring tools and how to create objects for monitoring with in Solarwinds and Cisco Prime.
    • To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Have Cisco Unified Communication experience (Cisco Call manager 7.x and above, Unity Connection 8.X and above, Telepresence implementation and Cisco Jabber experience).
    • Network Security experience, deploying Next Gen Firewalls, Cisco Firepower, Loadbalancer, Web Proxy, CASB.
