    Responsibilities

     

    What will you be doing?

     

    The Contract Manager is responsible for the overall coordination and management of the contract flow for client and vendor contracts in such a manner that it is compliant with PRA and legal guidelines, is delivered in the required quality and within the agreed timelines. The Contract Manager participates in the resolution of contract-related issues as they arise.

     

    What do you need to have?

    • Assigned to each study PRA performs CTA management through the PMP model
    • Project related reporting into the Regional PM
    • Assignment happens regionally with focus on sponsor (same CM for same sponsor)
    • Responsible for the Quality and timely delivery of the CTA negotiation process at the project level
    • Attend the Legal Kick-off meeting and the budget kick-off meeting (by the CMs of each region involved)
    • Create and finalize the IAP (that is reviewed by PM) (collaboration between Contracts Managers involved; one CM will be
    • assigned to take the lead based on country/site first patient in)
    • Train the CAs on the IAP and the negotiation guidelines as well as budget related issues including schedule of
    • assessment and protocol synopsis
    • Make sure that all correct and agreed CTA templates are used and all CTA types for each site are agreed in upfront
    • Follow-up closely with CAs on the CTA negotiation process and progress
    • First contact for the CA when there are budget issues

    Qualifications

    • 2-3 years of outstanding experience negotiating either clinical trial agreement budgets or clinical trial agreement language.
    • Read, write and speak fluent English; fluent in host country language required.
    • Undergraduate/Bachelor degree required (in contract/legal area preferred)
    • JD highly preferred

     
    Preferred prior experience as a clinical trial agreement budget negotiator.

     

    To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.
